Francis J.”Buddy” Hanna, age 94 of Mansfield, formerly of Cleveland passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Ohio Health Mansfield. He was a husband, friend, brother, uncle, step father, grandpa and great grandpa. He had so many stories to tell and had great knowledge of history and sports. Buddy served in the US Army, and retired from the Cleveland Schoolboard and worked many years on the ice crew for the Cleveland Barons and Crusaders hockey teams.
The son of Elmer and Margaret (nee White) Hanna. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Judy (nee Kunze) Step Daughter Laurie ( Steve) Miller, and Randy (Yvonne) Willis, grandchildren Andrea (Matt) Walter, Amy (Travis) Lantz, Zac (Alison) Miller, Samantha (Aaron )Hunter , and Andrea Blanco , 14 great grandchildren, several brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at McGorray/Hanna funeral home, Westlake Ohio.
