Sandra Kay Lucius, age 68, of Shelby, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 4, 2015 at her home.
She was born January 31, 1946 in Shelby, the daughter of Bazil Lloyd and Betty J. (Schimp) Noland. Sandy loved caring for her family as a housewife and a mother and loved the Lord. She enjoyed cooking.
On December 28, 1963 she married Robert J. Lucius and he survives along with their children:
Dennis (Jamie) Lucius of Shelby, Lorri (Glenn) Bragg of Marengo, Timothy (Sharon Sue) Lucius of Fredericktown; 7 grandchildren: Joshua Lucius, Bobby Lucius, Glenn T. “Bogie” Bragg, Michael Bragg, Sandra Frederick, Hannah Lucius and Amber Lucius; numerous great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Gretchen Robertson of Shelby, Irene (Larry) Sheridan of Arizona; Eileen (Paul) Evans of Fremont; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Lloyd Noland.
Friends and family are welcome on Tuesday January 6, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Thomas Blair, of First Assembly of God in Mansfield, officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
