Cody Wayne Perry

Cody Wayne Perry, 28, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born in Mansfield on October 6, 1993 to Douglas Perry and Angela Lancaster.

 

Loyal to his friends, Cody enjoyed the time spent with them and his family, cherishing the many memories they all shared together. He loved music, going to concerts and watching sports; even as a kid he played baseball a lot. Cody was an adrenaline junky and always found a way to seek out new adventures whether it was jet-skiing, hiking at Mohican or doing anything that involved going fast. Cody was an all-around great guy who lived life to its fullest.

 

Cody is survived by his children, Addison “Shug”, Colton, and Hazelynn; siblings, Corie, Brian and Cheyanne; step-siblings, Alyssia, Rusty, Joey and Kristen; step parents, Art and Lori; father, Douglas; best friend, Bobby; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Angela; step mother, Linda; grandmother, Priscilla; grandparents, Chet and Vivian; and step-sister, Erin.

 

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, Ohio 44902.

  1. Whoever wrote my little brothers [ we never said the step thing but not upset as we are step siblings] obituary. This was so on point I am so thankful not only did u all list Joey and myself but mom and Erin ad preceeding in death. Cody was my little brother he came to me with a lot over the years, stayed w me off and on and he called me that same day he was a week sober. The rest we all know. Cody I miss you mom and Erin and ur mama every minute of evert hour of every day losing u all changed something in me and it’s a pain I don’t wish on no one except the coward who killed my mom, the ppl who drove Erin, and the person responsible for you not being here!!! I love you and I wish I could bring u all back I would gladly exchange my life to u all and take your place in death. I love you coders always and forever sissy
