MANSFIELD — A man was arrested and guns, drugs and cash recovered in a METRICH raid conducted Monday in Mansfield, according to a Monday afternoon press release.

Timothy Bush was incarcerated and charged with five felonies after a search warrant was executed at 777 Highland Avenue by Mansfield Police, METRICH detectives and members of ASORT.

Authorities reported that Bush was arrested on the following charges: one count of Trafficking in Cocaine (a first-degree felony), one count of Possession of Cocaine (first-degree felony), two counts of Trafficking in Cocaine (third-degree felony), one count of Trafficking in Cocaine (fifth-degree felony) and one count of Weapons under Disability (third-degree felony).

METRICH detectives noted the seizure of approximately 73 grams of suspected cocaine, two rifles (Ruger 25-06 and Century arms .762 caliber), a handgun (Smith & Wesson 9mm), along with a flare gun, and $13,258.50 in U.S. currency and other drug-related evidence.

Further drug-related charges will be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office, authorities stated.

The search warrant was authorized by Mansfield Municipal Court Judge David Badnell.

The METRICH Enforcement Unit said it will continue to target those bringing and distributing illegal drugs within the community.
