MANSFIELD, Ohio – One teen remains in critical condition from a crash that occurred Monday on Grace Street in Mansfield.

On Monday, January 5 a red Dodge Neon reportedly sped down Grace Street in Mansfield and ran a red light at Fifth Avenue and Grace Street. According to bystander David Brenneis the Neon ran the red light, got airborne and crashed into a parked Dodge Ram in Greystone Lounge’s parking lot before hitting the building and coming to a stop, flipped over on its roof. 

According to OhioHealth MedCentral spokesperson Lewis Sanderow, Tyler Blust/Saltz, 19, was in critical but stable condition at Mansfield’s OhioHealth MedCentral Monday and Tuesday. As of Wednesday morning, Sanderow said he was in stable condition.

Dylan R. Perry, 17, was medflighted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus said Sanderow. He remains in critical but stable condition as of Wednesday afternoon.

John C. Seward, 19, was also treated for injuries at OhioHealth MedCentral but was released Tuesday.

All three teens involved are from Mansfield.
