MANSFIELD — Main Street Books has announced the return of Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday, Aug. 29 from noon to 4 p.m.
The bookstore will join in this nationwide event championing independent bookstores.
Originally scheduled for April 25, this year’s IBD was postponed to Aug. 29. The event will look different from past years, but these bookstores are still worth celebrating.
Main Street Books will be hosting a socially distanced party for book-lovers from noon to 4 p.m. There will be scavenger hunts — one for adults and one for kids — that can earn you discounts on your purchase.
There will be a kid-sized Dog Man selfie center. Plus, there will be many IBD exclusive items for sale including poetry collections, socks, candles, tote bags and more.
