ASHLAND — A crash with multiple fatalities closed a portion of Interstate-71 southbound overnight in Ashland County.
The section of I-71 southbound, south of U.S. 250, had reopened as of 7 a.m., according to a tweet from the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is expected to share more about the crash in a press release later today. The OSHP did confirm the late Wednesday crash involved multiple fatalities.
