James C. Snodgrass, 61, of Loudonville died unexpectedly Monday morning, August 4, 2014 in Glendora Care Center, Wooster, after a five year illness. Jim was born Feb. 8, 1953 in Wadsworth and was the son of the late James and Edith (Morris) Snodgrass. He had lived in the Loudonville area since 1983 when he moved from Wooster. He was a well driller for many years with Duncan Drilling Co. of Perrysville and later became a van driver for many Amish families. Jim was an avid sports fan and loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn (Wakefield) Snodgrass, whom he married August 5, 1978; his daughter and son-in-law: Jessica and Mark Easterday of Loudonville, 2 grandchildren: Kiya Berry and Dakota Berry; and 2 sisters: Judy Showalter of Wooster and Dana Kappell of Milwaukee, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jeff Snodgrass.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7 at 7 p.m. in Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with Pastor Tadd Sponseller officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
