BELLVILLE — The Clear Fork Valley Local School District Board of Education will conduct a public hearing regarding the re-hiring of Dave Carroll on Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Clear Fork High School, 987 State Route 97, Bellville, in the Media Center.
Carroll retired from his full-time teaching position effective May 1, and is currently serving in the district in a substitute teaching capacity and pursuant to a supplemental contract as Head Varsity Football coach. He is seeking a regular, part-time teaching position with the district, in addition to his role as Head Varsity Football Coach.
To the extent that the provisions of Ohio Revised Code Sections 3307.353 and/or 3309.345 are applicable, the purpose of the hearing is to allow public participation in regards to the retiring and re-employment of Mr. Carroll. Members of the public are invited to provide input to the Board on the issue of Mr. Carroll’s re-employment as a retiree.
All public comment will be considered.
