The United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) Mobile Outreach Center will make its monthly visit to the office of the Mansfield Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) on Tuesday, May 13.
Anyone who has an employment discrimination complaint resulting from disparate treatment based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age (40 or older), disability, or retaliation may file a complaint with the EEOC on May 13.
Retaliation includes applicants or employees that feel they have been retaliated against for complaining about an employer to the EEOC, giving evidence of discrimination, or filing a charge of discrimination.
Any alleged actions of discrimination must have occurred within 300 days of the date of filing the complaint.
The EEOC will receive complaints from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Suite 409 of the Richland Bank Building, 3 North Main Street. Appointments are encouraged. Call 419-522-9894.
