There was no room for doubt as the Lightning added to its advantage with a 9-6 margin in the closing period.
The Lightning broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 57-51 lead over the Wildcats.
Davie Western took a 33-26 lead over Weston Cypress Bay heading to the intermission locker room.
The Wildcats started on steady ground by forging a 15-14 lead over the Lightning at the end of the first quarter.
