Dorothy M. Shambre, 91, of Mansfield passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
She was born on March 19, 1926 in Crestline, Ohio to the late Francis and Mary (Stogie) Nelson.
A dedicated and devoted mother and grandmother, she valued time spent with her family. Many fond memories were made together and Dorothy will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter, Patti (James) Osgar; grandchildren, Michelle (Pompeo) Balbo, Brian (Nicole) Shambre, Jeff (Susan) Shambre, Mike (Tiffany) Osgar and Jody Shambre; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Danny, Phillip, MaKenzie, Lindsey, Lauren, Kyle, Hannah, Zariah, Mason, Zoey, Sophia, Easton, Tyson, Malia, and Sebastian; brother, Don (Helen) Nelson; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Shambre.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe F. Shambre; and sons, Phillip Shambre and Larry Shambre.
Friends and family may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. officiated by Pastor Timothy Storms. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park.
