BUCYRUS — Bucyrus Police handled the following calls over the past weekend.

Friday, May 5

10:23 a.m. Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire and the Street Department in the area of Marion Rd. and W. Southern Ave. where a tree had fallen into the roadway damaging a vehicle and a tow company assisted.

11:02 a.m. A domestic complaint was investigated in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St.

11:42 a.m. Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 100 block of S. Sandusky Ave.

12:43 p.m. Officers assisted Life Support team in the 200 block of W. Mansfield St.

3:18 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1600 block of Marion Rd. was investigated.

4:36 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 200 block of E. Beal Ave.

4:40 p.m. A report of juveniles fighting in the area of Pinewood Ct. was unfounded.

6:06 p.m. Officers checked a report of suspicious activity in the 1200 block of Monnett St.

6:09 p.m. A 911 hang-up call was investigated in the 500 block of S. East St.

6:15 p.m. A 911 hang-up call was investigated in the area of Mansfield and Spring St.

6:40 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Reid and Inez St.

6:52 p.m. A parking complaint was unfounded in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Ave.

8:08 p.m. A Galen St. resident reported being assaulted by a person known to them at another location. The report remains under investigation.

8:21 p.m. A false alarm was investigated in the 1200 block of W. Southern Ave.

9:19 p.m. Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the area of Woodlawn Ave. and Whetstone St.

10:20 p.m. Officers assisted a State Trooper in the area of State Route 4.

10:24 p.m. A traffic warning was given on Crossroads Blvd.

10:31 p.m. Officers investigated a domestic issue in the 800 block of Elm St.

11:48 p.m. Officers on patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at Aumiller Park. They were sent on their way.

11:50 p.m. Officers assisted EMS in the 200 block of S. Lane St.

11:59 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 200 block of E. Oakwood Ave.

Saturday, May 6

12:11 a.m. Officers assisted a State Trooper on a traffic stop on State Route 4.

12:14 a.m. A report of loud music in the 200 block of Nauman Ave. was resolved.

1:24 a.m. A traffic warning was given in the area of S. Sandusky Ave. and Oakwood Ave.

2:16 a.m. A male was cited for driving under suspension in the area of Woodlawn Ave. and Park Ave A passenger, 21, was arrested on a warrant for income tax out of Crawford County. He was issued a date to appear in court and released.

2:16 a.m. A traffic warning was given in the area of Rogers St. and Wallace Ave.

2:44 a.m. Officers assisted an intoxicated pedestrian having difficulty standing near Washington Square. Dakota Chapman, 29, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

3:51 a.m. A report of loud music in the area of Auto Ave. and Nauman Ave. was investigated.

6:35 a.m. A report of a barking dog in the 300 block of Wallace Ave. was investigated.

8:47 a.m. A domestic disturbance in the 600 block of S. Walnut Street was investigated.

10:47 a.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 1500 block of Fairview Avenue.

11:09 a.m. A false alarm at Bucyrus Internal Medicine was investigated.

11:29 a.m. A resident in the 700 block of Earl Street reported tools stolen from a barn on their property.

11:49 a.m. Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff Office by checking an alarm on Lower Leesville Road.

11:57 a.m. A domestic disturbance in the 600 block of S. Walnut Street was investigated.

12:59 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle in the 500 block of S. Walnut Street.

1:10 p.m. Officers checked a residence on S. Walnut Street for a suspect from an earlier domestic situation.

3:13 p.m. A false alarm in the 800 block of Melody Lane was investigated.

4:22 p.m. Officers assisted Richland County, Ohio State Patrol and Crawford County with a high speed pursuit from the Richland County area. The vehicle was stopped in the parking lot of Bucyrus Community Hospital where the driver was taken into custody. A Richland County Sheriff vehicle was damaged in the stop. The driver of the suspect vehicle faces a multitude of charges.

5:26 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of his vehicle at Walmart.

5:40 p.m. A report about teenagers playing in the river at Aumiller Park was investigated. No one was located around the water when officers checked the area.

6:03 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Walmart.

6:37 p.m. A report of a kid swinging a baseball bat at people and vehicles in the 600 block of Prospect Street was investigated. No one had been hit and officers confiscated the bat.

8:19 p.m. A written traffic warning was issued on Marion Road.

8:39 p.m. Officers delivered a message to an employee at McDonald’s.

8:50 p.m. A private property collision on the lot at Kroger was investigated.

9:36 p.m. A report of a reckless vehicle heading into town on Marion Road was investigated.

10:56 p.m. A report of possible gunshots in the area of Highland Ave. and Failor St. was unfounded.

10:59 p.m. A resident in the 1000 block of Rogers St. reported an unknown noise.

11:42 p.m. A report of loud music in the Hopley Ave. and John St. area was checked and a resident was notified and warned.

11:47 p.m. Officers on patrol investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of Hopley Ave. They were found to be dropping off a U-Haul.

11:55 p.m. A traffic warning was given in the Prospect St. and E. Oakwood Ave. area.

Sunday, May 7

12:03 a.m. A traffic warning was given in the area of S. Poplar St. and W. Warren St.

12:48 a.m. A report of an erratic driver coming into town on State Route 98 South was investigated.

1:29 a.m. A resident in the 800 block of Beverly Dr. reported a noise and the issue was unfounded.

2:33 a.m. A 17 year old male was arrested for underage consumption and domestic violence on the 500 block of Failor St. He was taken to the Marion Juvenile Detention Center to be held for an appearance in Juvenile Court.

3:44 a.m. Officers assisted a female in the 1700 block of Marion Rd. with some issues she was having.

5:14 a.m. A Woodbine resident reported theft of a TV and DVD player.

6:28 a.m. A report of a male trespassing in the 800 block of Rogers St. was investigated and the trespasser was escorted from the area.

9:16 a.m. Officers conducted a welfare check on an elderly female in the 1700 block of Marion Rd.

10:53 a.m. A resident in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Avenue reported someone she knows slashed her tires. A male involved was served a criminal summons to appear in court over the matter.

1:04 p.m. Officers assisted Bucyrus Fire Department at a vehicle and garage fire in the 1200 block of Sherwood Drive.

1:43 p.m. Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the 100 block of W. Oakwood Avenue.

1:48 p.m. Officers assisted with a parent and an unruly juvenile that was not listening. Pamela DeJean, 50, was arrested on two Crawford County warrants. She was issued a date to appear in court and released.

2:47 p.m. A report of a possibly impaired driver leaving Circle K was investigated.

3:27 p.m. A two vehicle minor injury crash was investigated in the area of Marion Road and Beal Avenue. and a citation was issued.

3:33 p.m. Officers delivered a message for Galion Police Department to a resident in the 1600 block of Colonial Drive.

4:19 p.m. A disturbance between landlord and tenant in the 300 block of Wiley Street was a civil matter.

4:25 p.m. A report of a disorderly person at Heritage Circle was investigated. He was just looking for a family member who was not home at the time. Officers gave him a ride back to his residence.

4:28 p.m. Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 400 block of Pleasant Lane.

5:49 p.m. A report of an erratic driver heading south on Sandusky from the square was checked and the vehicle not located.

6:59 p.m. Officers spoke to a subject at the Police Department about a civil custody issue.

8:23 p.m. Justin Noel, 23, was arrested on charges of Domestic Violence on Teddy Ave. after reportedly assaulting his live-in girlfriend. He was transported to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

8:49 p.m. A traffic warning was issued in the area of Marion Road and Allen Avenue.

11:12 p.m. A report of an unwanted male at River’s Edge Trailer Park was resolved as the subjects were moving out.

Monday, May 8

12:14 a.m. A traffic warning was given in the area of Kaler Ave. and W. Charles St.

1:11 a.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle parked at Hardee’s was investigated. It was found to be an employee of Hardee’s.

1:36 a.m. A report of a group of males with a BB gun in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. was investigated.

1:56 a.m. A female was cited for driving with an expired license in the area of E. Mansfield St. and Highland Ave.
