MANSFIELD — The Music Academy of Karate and Empowerment held its adult class promotion on April 23.

The promotion was led by Sensei Reneta Music, Grandmaster Gary Music, Sensei Amber Bogner, Sensei Colin Ailstock, and Sensei Brian Mann. Students were evaluated on their katas through technique, form, and overall execution.

At the conclusion of the promotion, all students were recognized for their progress and determination by receiving a new belt. Specifically, all students, including Brayden Mason, Sonja Gottschling, Bailey Mann, Zoey Mann, Le Phuong Phan and Trinity Potts, were promoted to blue belts.

These belts serve as physical representations of each student’s commitment to the practice and their own personal development. The promotion itself emphasizes the unity and leadership of the academy, with the instructors coming together to nurture the skills of the students, and the students consistently putting forth their best effort to enhance their karate abilities.

The Music Academy of Karate and Empowerment at 44 W. Fourth St. continues to instill confidence and self-discipline in not only younger students but adults as well, building a strong community of individuals unwavering in their devotion to the practice and their own self-improvement.
