Earl Morris Mosier, 79, of Fredericktown passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at his home.
Earl was born June 21, 1937 in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Goldie (Frasier) Mosier.
Earl was a very private, peaceful, kind-hearted, quiet and independent man. He was a skilled self-taught carpenter and a skilled craftsman. Earl moved north from Kentucky for work and had been employed at H.S. Automotive as a fork-lift driver and press operator. He was a proud member of United Steelworkers Union.
Earl leaves behind his children, Darlene (Carl) Miller and Connie (Rick) Dean; seven grandchildren, Earl Miller, Jason Dean, Carl Miller, Carla Miller, Terri Harper, Dana Plew, and Rebecca Dean; four great-grandchildren, Bambi (Dennis Capper) Harper, Hunter (Amanda Hickey) Miller, Brandi Plew and Brianna Dean; two great-great-grandchildren, Camdyn Miller and Neveah Windsor; a sister, Debbie Vice; and a daughter-in-law, Polly Mosier.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a wife, Myrtle (Owens) Mosier; a son, Mitchell Mosier; and a brother, Lowell Mosier.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A funeral service conducted by Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the funeral home.
