LEXINGTON — The Lexington High School Drama Department is showcasing the musical “Grease,” Thursday, March 30, Friday, March 31, Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 2 at 2:30 p.m. at the Lexington High School Auditorium.
The Original 1971 musical will boast a cast of more than 80 students and tells the story of the teenage 50’s romance of Danny and Sandy and their friends the T-Birds and Pink Ladies.
The musical includes such songs as “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “Summer Lovin,” “Greased Lightin’” and “ You’re the One That I Want.”
The show is directed by Aly Horn and the musical director is Melissa Hassmann.
Tickets for the show are on sale Monday, March 27 from 3 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the door one hour prior to the show.
All seats are reserved and $8 each.
