MANSFIELD — The 5th Grade Mansfield Cavs team competed in a two-day AAU basketball tournament March 19 and March 20 at the Spring Shootout tournament at Tiffin University.
The team went undefeated in its pool and won the championship (48-28). The AAU travel basketball team consist of kids from Mansfield City schools, Madison, and Ontario.
Team members are Ja-Ontay O’Bryant, Amarr Davis, Jaiden Grose, and Jamiere Jones, coach Jevar Hudgens, Duke Reese, Carmelo Smith, Ahmaan Thomas, coach Andy Kepple, Brady Zehe and Will Kepple.
