MANSFIELD – The Richland County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of an adult male found Friday on Brace Avenue as a suspicious case.

Bob Ball, Chief Investigator with the Richland County Coroner’s Office, confirmed an adult male was pronounced dead at his Brace Avenue residence Friday night.

The body will be sent to Montgomery County on Monday for an autopsy.

Ball said his office has confirmed the man’s identity, but it is not being released at this time.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department was also on the scene.

“At this time, the Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Office has no information leading us to believe there is any danger to the public,” Maj. Jim Sweat with the RCSO.

Brace Avenue is located north of Mansfield off of Fifth Avenue in a neighborhood directly east of the BibleWalk Museum.
