The Bopper Brothers, a 60s-styled band led by area musicians McCray Martin and Paul Loveless, is getting ready to release its second album.
“Kaleidoscope” will be available on Nov. 11.
The album features “Set Me Free” with the Ohio Express, “Strangers with Memories” with Dane Donohue and 10 additional songs. The album features many other artists from around the area as well, including a special appearance from Rick Nesta of the Music Explosion.
Additionally, The Bopper Brothers have planned two concerts to celebrate this release:
- Nov. 10 at 8:30 p.m. at Huntington Recital Hall at Capital University, featuring many Capital University Conservatory of Music students and presented and sponsored by WXCU, Capital University’s campus radio station.
- Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at King Road Christian Church, 1425 King Road in Ashland, featuring Dale Powers, Dean Kastran, Dane Donohue, Roger Semer, Eric Barkdull and more and presented in part with WRDL, Ashland University’s campus radio station.
Below is an interview with Martin, Powers and Kastran, led by Richland Source Deputy Managing Editor Carl Hunnell back in June.
