BUCYRUS – The City of Bucyrus has announced that Lubrication Specialties, LLC (LSI), an Ohio-based manufacturer known for its Hot Shot’s Secret brand, plans to expand operations in Bucyrus at the former Diamond Wipes facility located at 1375 Isaac Beal Road.
The company is beginning operations by the end of this year, with plans to initially bring six positions to the Bucyrus location.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Mount Gilead, Lubrication Specialties, LLC manufactures high-performance lubricants, fuel additives, and specialty chemical products.
The company is best known for its Hot Shot’s Secret brand, which serves the automotive, trucking, agricultural, and industrial markets.
Products are distributed globally and sold at more than 35,000 retail locations nationwide, including automotive parts stores, farm and retail stores, truck stops, and travel centers.
“This expansion reflects the strong momentum our business continues to experience. The Bucyrus facility enhances our distribution network, provides room for future growth, and
strengthens our ability to serve customers efficiently across the country,” said Kevin Krueger, CFO, Lubrication Specialties.
“We are excited to invest in Bucyrus, create new jobs, and contribute to the economic vitality of the community for years to come.”
The company’s arrival will bring new activity to the former Diamond Wipes facility and provide another opportunity to put existing industrial space in Crawford County to use.
The location offers LSI room to establish its operations while allowing for potential expansion in the years ahead.
“The City of Bucyrus welcomes Lubrication Specialties, LLC and looks forward to supporting the company as it begins operations,” said Bucyrus mayor Bruce Truka.
“We value the businesses that call Bucyrus home and remain committed to creating an environment where employers can succeed, expand, and create new opportunities for our residents.”
Lubrication Specialties, LLC would also like to thank Dzugan Realty Services for making
this project possible.
