The new owners say they are dedicated to restoring the 66-acre property, located at 3495 Tugend Road in Butler, to its glory days.
That will start with Stoke the Midwest 2: Mini Ramp Jam, which is slated to take place Oct. 16 to 18.
This high-energy weekend features a $2,000 cash purse, open riding, and camping.
The main event will be on Saturday, Oct. 17 starting at 11 a.m. with a heavy lineup of jam — including Kids, Street, Spine, and Dirt Jumps.
Entry is $20 for riders and $10 for spectators for the whole weekend, with on-site food trucks and camping available for $20 a night.
A haven for thrill-seekers on wheels
The Redneck Ranch remains one of Ohio’s most comprehensive destinations for action sports enthusiasts of every dynamic. Built on world-class terrain, the facility caters to all skill levels across every discipline:
* Indoor & Outdoor Skateparks: Featuring indoor ramps, vert elements, foam pit, and box jumps, alongside an expansive outdoor street/park setup where all wheels — skateboards, BMX bikes, inline, and scooters — are welcome.
* Motocross & Dirt Tracks: Open tracks designed for dirt bikes, ATVs, and e-motos, featuring jumps and turns that bring high-octane energy back to Butler.
* Trails & Riding Grounds: Miles of outdoor terrain and jump lines for trail riders looking to test their limits or enjoy a rugged afternoon outdoors.
Whether you’re a beginner, just learning to stand on a board for the first time or a seasoned rider tuning your dirt bike for weekend laps, the proprietors are focusing on safety, accessibility, and pure, unfiltered fun.
More than ramps & dirt: A community hotspot
While the action sports features are a major draw, the new owners are expanding The Redneck Ranch into something even bigger: a vibrant, multi-purpose community center and outdoor event hotspot.
The owners envision the ranch as a hub for local families, youth, and visitors from across the state. Plans for the expanding venue include:
* Youth Programs & Action Sports Camps: Providing local kids with a safe, positive
environment to learn riding skills, build confidence, and stay active.
* Event Venue & Private Rentals: Offering the property for private bookings, including high-energy birthday parties, corporate team-building retreats, and unique outdoor weddings set against Richland County’s natural backdrop.
* Good Ol’ Redneck Fun: Beyond bikes and skateboards, the Ranch is set to host seasonal outdoor events, music gatherings, tailgate-style community days, and miscellaneous mud-and-dirt action sports activities.
Gear up and get involved
The Redneck Ranch is currently open Wednesday – Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, offering flexible day passes and memberships for skate parks, dirt tracks, or full-ride combo access.
Whether you’re picking up a board, fueling up your dirt bike, or looking for a venue to host your next big gathering, Skip and BJ invite you to come out, see the improvements, and be a part of the ranch’s next chapter.

Come for the racing, stay for the catastrophic loss of traction.
