Monika (Beiwinkler) Cronebaugh, age 67, of Mansfield, OH, passed away after a long, courageous battle with an illness at OhioHealth Mansfield on Monday, September 28, 2026. She was born September 16, 1959, in Mansfield, OH to Richard and Otillia (Hofsaess) Beiwinkler.
She graduated from Lexington High School, class of 1977. She loved cooking and was incredibly crafty, especially when it came to scrapbooking. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and going on cruises, always embracing the joy and adventure that life had to offer.
Monika had a warm and bright presence that could light up any room. She was deeply family-oriented and truly a mother to all. She had a special way of making everyone feel welcome, loved, and at home.
Everywhere Monika went, she seemed to meet a new friend. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine love for people touched so many lives. She will be remembered for the joy she brought to others and for the beautiful connections she made wherever she went.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Long; her children, Jason (Amber Phillips) Cronebaugh, Rachel (Rich) Blakesley, Amber (Jason) Smith, Amanda (Danny) Frye, and Anthony (Kayla) Long; grandchildren, Hannah Frye, Audrey Frye, and Kobe Cronebaugh; siblings, Ron Beiwinkler and Sonja Isaacs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Rick Beiwinkler.
A celebration of Monika’s life will be held at Mansfield Liederkranz, 1212 Silver Lane, Mansfield, OH on Thursday October 1, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
