Myles Bradley caught the Big Ten’s attention over the weekend.
A Mansfield Senior product and senior defensive end at Bowling Green, Bradley drew rave reviews from Nebraska coach Matt Rhule after the Cornhuskers’ 56-7 win in Lincoln on Saturday.
Bradley had two tackles and a sack for the Falcons (0-2).
“Twenty-three for them (Bradley) is a really excellent player,” Rhule said in his postgame press conference. “He got to us too much.”
In two games Bradley has four tackles, a sack and a quarterback hit. He was a Mid-American Conference preseason second-team pick.
Bowling Green visits Iowa State on Saturday.
Lockdown
Mansfield Senior grad Keontez Bradley is one of the top cornerbacks in the Mid-American Conference for the University of Buffalo.
A senior, Bradley has 14 tackles and a pass break-up in two games for the Bulls (1-1). He made eight stops in the opener against Albany, a 21-17 Buffalo win.
Ahmaan Thomas, another Senior High product, is also on Buffalo’s roster.
The Bulls are at Penn State on Saturday.
Bulldog
Lexington grad Brayden Fogle has played in both games this season for the the University of Georgia. The true freshman tight end has appeared on special teams.
The Bulldogs (2-0) are at Arkansas on Saturday.
Great Scots
A trio of local products had big games for the College of Wooster in a 26-19 win over Kenyon.
Lexington’s Cam Crago had three tackles for loss and a sack, forced two fumbles and blocked a punt and a field goal attempt. Crago blocked two punts in Wooster’s opening loss to Wilmington.
Mansfield Senior product Ja’Ontay O’Bryant, who transferred from Findlay, picked off three passes in the win. Senior High’s D.J. Corbin, a true freshman, made five tackles.
The Fighting Scots (1-1) host Denison on Saturday.
