Timothy “Tim” Eichorn, age 76, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, in his home surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on May 23, 1950, in Buffalo, New York to the late Mark and Leona (Miller) Eichorn.

A graduate of Northmor High School, Tim was a member of the class of 1968. During those years, he began building the roots that would remain an important part of his life. On October 16, 1971, Tim married the love of his life, Dianna Wolfhope, and together they shared more than 54 years of marriage. Through all those years, they built a life centered around faith, family, hard work, and countless memories made along the way.

Tim was a lifelong dairy farmer. He officially retired from farming in May of 2018, although anyone who knew Tim understood that retirement did not necessarily mean staying away from the farm. Whenever he was needed, Tim was there to lend a hand. Farming was more than a career to him; it was a way of life and something he took great satisfaction in.

Tim’s faith was the foundation upon which he built his life. He was a longtime member of Johnsville Mennonite Church, where he faithfully served as treasurer and as an elder for many years. His faith was not simply something he professed; it was something he lived through his commitment to his family, his church, and those around him.

His love for his community and especially for Northmor High School was evident in another role he cherished. Tim drove a school bus for his alma mater, taking students to many sporting events and field trips. He loved being part of the excitement, cheering on the Golden Knights. Tim also enjoyed helping with the chain crew during home football games for many years. As part of the Northmor family, he enjoyed creating memories with generations of students along the way.

Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his loving wife, Dianna Eichorn; his children, Dave (Becky) Eichorn of Marysville, Dan (Holly) Eichorn of Plain City, Bethany (Mark) Wiseman of Johnsville, and Brian (Ashley) Eichorn of Dover; his grandchildren, Leanne (Spencer) Mills, Maddie Eichorn, Rachel, Rebecca, Cecilia and Andrea Eichorn, T.J. Ryan, and Jacob Diehl, and Harper Eichorn; his siblings, Merv (Jody) Eichorn, Delmar (Kathy) Eichorn, Lloyd (Heiden) Eichorn, and Rhonda (Bill) Hall; along with several extended family members and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to OhioHealth Compassus Hospice, especially Heather, for the kind, compassionate, and loving care shown to Tim and his entire family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Johnsville Mennonite Church, 7387 County Road 242, Mt. Gilead, Ohio 43338.

Tim’s funeral service, honoring his life and faith, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2026 at the church with Pastor Matt Roggio officiating. An additional hour of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Shauck Cemetery in Johnsville.

Memorial contributions in Tim’s memory may be made to Johnsville Mennonite Church.
