Max Longwell, 22 years old, of Lexington passed away Sunday August 23, 2026.
Born November 5, 2003 in Mansfield, he was the son of Todd and Laura Longwell. Max married the love of his life, Keiah Coulter, on June 14, 2026 and she survives.
He was a graduate of Galion City High School; he was a member of the Galion High School Golf team for years, where he created the Goon Squad. He worked as a team lead for Walmart in Ashland and Ontario. Max was a creative musician; he played a lot of instruments and even wrote his own music. He was a very talented man. Max was a big sports fan; he loved Pittsburgh sports teams and watched them often. He enjoyed ice skating and playing ping pong in his free time and spent as much time with his family as he could. He loved spending time with his loving wife, Keiah. They had many precious memories and activities they loved to do, including watching the Blue Jackets games together. Max will always be well remembered for his unique sense of humor and the beautiful way he showed his love for others.
In addition to his wife and parents, Max is survived by his sister, Alison (Cody Scott) Longwell; his grandma, Janet Longwell; his uncles, Ron (Kim) Longwell and Mike Valentine; his aunts, Lisa Dyer, and Hollie (Aaron Stitzel) Chance; his cousins, Kane Longwell, Kael Longwell, Trey Longwell, Mitch (Shelby) Dyer, Ashley Dyer, Annabella Chance and AJ Chance; his in-laws, Greg and Lindsay Coulter; and his sisters in-law, Emmah Gollihue, Olivia Coulter and Vivyanne Coulter.
He was preceded in death by his great grandma, Mary (Whiteside) Rush; his grandpa, Ben Longwell; and uncle, Greg Dyer.
The family will be having private services, thank you for the support you’ve shown to them during this time of grief.
