NANKIN — Cross country runners from Madison and Mansfield Senior competed Saturday in a massive field of teams from across the Buckeye state.
The Mapleton Cross Country Fall Classic boasted a field of 28 teams. Nearly 200 athletes competed in the boys high school race and nearly 150 girls participated in the girls high school race.
As a team, the Madison girls finished 12th overall. In the boys race, Madison finished 11th overall, followed by Mansfield Senior (16th).
