Danny Keith Kiser, 58, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, August 13, 2026. He was born on September 1, 1967, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Odis Kiser and the late Garlene (Mabry) Kiser.
Danny graduated from Ontario High School and went on to work as a carpenter for Adena Corporation. He took great pride in his craft and truly enjoyed the work he did throughout his career.
On October 24, 1998, Danny married his beloved wife, Dawn (Hale) Kiser. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Their years together were a testament to the deep bond they shared, creating a lifetime of moments that will forever be treasured.
Danny was a man who found joy in the outdoors, especially through fishing and hunting. He was always happiest when he was working with his hands, whether taking on a project involving cars or mowers or tackling a home remodeling project. There was rarely a task he wouldn’t take on, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His giving spirit extended to his church, The Carrothers Church of God of Prophecy, where he enjoyed volunteering and helping wherever he could.
Above all, Danny was devoted to his family. He treasured family vacations and never missed an opportunity to cheer on his children at their sporting events. He was incredibly proud of his kids and their accomplishments. Outgoing, friendly, and caring, Danny had a way of making people feel welcome and valued. His generous heart, hardworking nature, and love for his family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Left to cherish Danny’s memory are his beloved wife, Dawn; his children, Danny Kiser, Dalani Kiser, and Dalton Kiser; his brother, Jerry (Terri) Kiser; his father, Odis Kiser; his father and mother in-law, Nathan and Karen Hale; his sister-in-law, Crystal (Jeff) Black; and his nieces and nephew, Jerod Kiser, Baylee Black, and Brooklynn Black.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Garlene Kiser.
A public graveside service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Crestline, at 12:30pm, with Danny’s father-in-law, Pastor Nathan Hale officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Avita Home Health and Hospice for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Carrothers Church of God of Prophecy.
