SHELBY — Whether planning a weekend getaway or a dream vacation, area residents can gather inspiration at an upcoming event hosted by 100+ Women for Shelby.
The organization will host “Let the Adventures Begin! Travel Ideas & Tips,” a lecture and community evening, on July 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Shelby Community and Senior Center, 154 N. Gamble St.
Doors open at 6 p.m.
Experienced travel advisors will share destination ideas, planning strategies, and practical advice to help attendees organize enjoyable, stress-free future trips.
In addition to the presentations, the evening will feature travel-themed bingo and a raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will fund the purchase of gas cards for local charities, which will distribute them to help area individuals and families with transportation needs.
Admission is $15 per person and free for members of 100+ Women for Shelby. Heavy appetizers and desserts will be provided.
