Mary E. Belcher went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was 82.
She was born on April 16, 1944 in Ethel, West Virginia to the late Carl Llyod and Ruth Lillian (Smith) Belcher. Mary grew up in the small mining community and attended Man High School before moving to Columbus, Ohio to be closer to her sister Carol.
As an adult Mary worked as a nursing aid for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family and her favorite chihuahua Suzie.
She is survived by her twin brothers Lloyd (Cathy) Belcher and Billy Belcher, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her sisters Carol (Bill) Nester, Sandra Brown, and Shirley Gibson.
Per Mary’s wishes, the family will be celebrating her life privately by returning her home to her beloved hills of West Virginia.
