LEXINGTON — Lou Sorrenti will be hosting a presentation by former FBI agent Bob Friedrick on Sunday, June 7 on his experiences dealing with the Cleveland mafia in the 1970s.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at The Local, 97078 Ohio97, Lexington. Contact Lou Serentini 419-884-7117, for tickets.

Friederick is former FBI Agent/Supervisor of the Organized Crime Squad, Cleveland. He will be sharing his experiences in the 1970s of why Cleveland was labeled the notorious “Bomb City, USA.”

He was the case agent for the investigation of the infamous Danny Greene, who was assassinated in October 1977.

Frederick was also responsible for soliciting the cooperation of Angelo Lonardo, Boss of the Cleveland Family. Leonardo was the highest-ranking mafioso to ever agree to cooperate with the government at the time.

Leonardo’s testimony was responsible, in part, for the convictions of the five Bosses of the Commission of New York City.
