MANSFIELD — Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to share their feedback through an online survey about the future of Richland County as part of the ongoing Richland United 2050 Comprehensive Plan.
Richland United is a comprehensive joint planning effort for the County and cities of Mansfield and Shelby that will unfold over the coming months, with final adoption of the plan anticipated in early 2027.
The plan will serve as a blueprint on how we grow, move, build, and thrive together.
A public survey is now available on the project website at http://www.richlandcompplan.com/.
In the coming months, community leaders from the Richland County project team representing the City of Mansfield, the City of Shelby, and Richland County will attend several local events to provide information and gather feedback to shape the future of Richland County.
Whether you care about housing, green spaces, economic vitality, or opportunities for innovation, your feedback will help shape a more inclusive and thriving Richland.
This is our moment to dream big. Picture a land that you shape for future generations.
The survey is active as of May 27. Take the survey today and join the conversation! It takes about 10 minutes to complete, is anonymous, and you don’t have to answer any questions you don’t want to.
