Gabriella Gargagliano Luppino, age 85, was born on August 4, 1940, in Palermo, Italy. Orphaned at age 3, with the death of her mother, she was raised by Sisters of the order of Holy Family and educated in the Parochial School of Holy Family. Gabriella became the bride of her late husband, Paul Luppino, on July 16, 1959, in Pompeii, Italy, moving to Willard, Ohio in 1960, where she lived all her married life. Gabriella was known for her great skills as a cook and hostess, but mostly as the loving mother of her three children. Gabriella was employed as an inspector for many years at Pioneer Rubber Plant and later employed in Home Health Care. She was a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and 55 Plus Club. A friend to many, Gabriella always knew when there was someone in need and quickly offered her assistance.
Preceded in death by her husband, Paul. Gabriella is survived by her 3 children, Dominick (Charlotte) of Hilliard, Maria Green of Shelby, and John (Beth) of Maumee; 6 grandchildren, Richard Paul Green, Daniel John ( Lauren) Green, Sara Luppino, Carla (Chris) Harper, Katherine Luppino, Olivia Luppino; and 5 great grandchildren, Hayden Green, Emmy and Ava Gabriella Green and Allison and Olivia Harper. Also surviving is two sisters, missionary nun, Sister Gabriella Fifetta of Palermo, Italy and Vita Gargagliano of Palermo, Italy; nephew Frank (Kathy) Luppino and two nieces Catherine Spayde and Mary (Steve) Schloemer.
She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Luppino and parents Alfonso and Maria Olivia (Vitello) Gargagliano; three brothers, Guido, Giovanni and Vincenzo Gargagliano and sister, Maria Rosa Gargagliano; two brothers-in-law, Antonio (Edda) Luppino and Frank Luppino.
There will be calling hours on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard. The funeral mass will be Saturday at 10:30 am at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard with Fr. Eric Mueller officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard.
