Our dearly loved family member, Thomas Lee Stumbaugh, age 66, passed away peacefully at his home in Tallahassee, Florida following an extended illness on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Born August 3, 1959 in Valdosta, Georgia, he was the son of the late Clifford and Betty (Scott) Stumbaugh.

Tom attended Madison High School in Mansfield, Ohio, graduating in 1977. After serving in the United States Air Force, Tom began a career in the construction trades with a focus on commercial paint finishing. He enjoyed his woodworking hobby and provided many lovely furniture pieces to friends and family.

In addition to his wife, Rebecca, he is survived by four stepchildren, his sisters Chris Stumbaugh and JoAnn (Edwin) Nelson, and his brother Frank (Roxana) Stumbaugh. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his stepson, Joey Hollis.

Tom will be laid to rest at the Tallahassee National Cemetery, reserved for military service members. A private service for the family will be held, which will be officiated by a Pastor from Tallahassee Heights Methodist Church where Tom was a long-time member.

The Stumbaugh family is grateful for all of the kind words of condolence and special thoughts of remembrance.
