Peggy Ann Randolph, age 68, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at her home. She was born on January 3, 1958, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Samuel “Sam” Chipner Jr. and Norma (Grubb) Chipner.
Peggy graduated from Galion High School in 1976 and began her career at North Electric. She later worked as a teller at Firelands Federal Credit Union until her retirement. Never one to slow down, Peggy spent her retirement years working in the cafeteria at Northmor High School, where her kindness touched countless students and staff.
She met the love of her life, Harold Randolph Jr., on February 4, 1976. Their love blossomed, and on August 20, 1977, they were joined in marriage, beginning a lifelong journey of devotion, joy, and unwavering companionship.
Peggy had a heart as generous as it was gentle, and she poured that love into everything she did. She found great joy in quilting and sewing, especially through her quilting guild and the yearly quilt retreats she so dearly cherished. Peggy loved the simple pleasures of life—camping, tending to her flowers and garden, shopping, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. She had a special fondness for purple, a color that seemed to reflect her warmth and kindness in everything she touched.
Above all else, Peggy’s greatest joy was her family. Nothing meant more to her than time spent with her grandchildren, whether she was cheering them on at their games and events or simply enjoying moments together. She was also the biggest Northmor Knights cheerleader, always proudly supporting her grandchildren and their teams. With her big heart and deeply caring spirit, she was the glue that held her family together, always putting family first and making everyone feel loved, supported, and at home.
Left to cherish Peggy’s memory are her beloved husband, Harold Randolph Jr.; her children, Levi (Kari) Randolph and Wade (Megan) Randolph; her grandchildren, Logan (Jayden) Randolph, Drew Hammond, Morgan Randolph, Tristan Hammond, Colton Randolph, Nick Juk, and Luke Wulf; her great-grandchild, Dawson Randolph; her siblings, Chip Chipner and Becky Brainerd; her stepfather, Bud Bemiller; her brothers-in-law, Rodney (Whitney) Randolph, Alan Randolph and Jackie Randolph; her sister-in-law, Kristy Hamilton; her special cousin, Julie Dillon; as well as many extended aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Gompf Funeral Service – Galion Chapel, 303 Portland Way North.
