Mark Herbert Switzer, 65, of Crestline, passed peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Mark was born on March 14, 1960, in Galion, to the late William “Bill” and Dorothy (Lynch) Switzer, Sr. On December 11, 2000, Mark would marry Catherine “Cathy” (Holden), and Cathy would precede Mark in death on April 26, 2025.
Mark will be remembered most for his great sense of humor and the way he could bring laughter into any room. He loved spending time with his loyal dog, Roscoe, who was never far from his side. An avid sports fan, Mark proudly cheered on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Boston Celtics through every season.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters: Sara Diosi of Galion and Ashley Blunt of Wetumpka, AL; close friend: Jade Wynn of Crestline and 3 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, and wife, Mark was preceded in death by his sisters: Julie Switzer and Karen Keister.
