Kennon “Ken” L. Osbun, age 75 of Cardington passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025, at The James Cancer Hospital. He was born on January 19, 1950, in Mansfield to the late Howard “Ozzie” R. and Wilma M. (Pederson) Osbun.
Ken was a 1968 graduate of Malabar High School and later went on to graduate from Ohio State University in 1973. He owned and operated Kennon Osbun & Associates.
Ken was a member of the Rotary Club and the Realtors Association, as well as the past president for the Morrow County Chamber of Commerce.
On September 12, 1977, Ken married Vicki (Meadows) in Mansfield, she survives in Cardington.
In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by his children: Sara (Chad) Rank and Stacy (Darrell) Smith both of Mansfield, Steve (Kari) Thoman of Marion, Christopher Thoman of Lexington and Jermey (Heidi) Thoman of Mansfield; grandchildren: Dave Osbun, Kane Thoman, Gage (Maddie) Thoman, Lauryn Thoman, Isabelle “Izzy” Thoman, Jennfier (Josh) Verspoor and Taylor Thoman; great-grandchildren Meadow, Nate and Bennett; his siblings Patrica (Chris) Fisher of Westerville, Ohio, Melinda O’Donnell, and Evan Osbun both of Mansfield; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and brother-in-law Charles Meadows.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his brother John Osbun.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at a later date and will be announced once it is finalized.
