Jeffrey “Jeff” Roger Price, 66, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Avita Health System, Galion Community Hospital. Jeff was born to the late Milo and Meroe (Rick) Price on October 12, 1959, in Galion, Ohio.
Jeff graduated from Galion High School in 1978 and went on to attend The Ohio State University, where he pursued his passion for information technology. He later built a rewarding career as a Systems Analyst at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, where his dedication and expertise were deeply valued.
He will be fondly remembered for his deep passion for birdwatching, a pursuit that brought him endless joy and a sense of serenity. He also cherished the constant companionship of his beloved cat, Callie. A treasured member of his community, Jeff was known for his kindness and the joy he brought to neighborhood children, who often stopped by to share stories and laughter with him.
He took great pride in supporting his family, rarely missing the sporting events of his great-nieces and nephews. His warm encouragement and steady presence were a source of inspiration for the young athletes who loved having him cheer them on.
Left to cherish Jeff’s memory are his siblings, Max (Stacey) Price, Steve (Becky) Price, and JoAnn Cobern, all of Galion, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
