MANSFIELD — Richland County Transit is making it easier for residents to cast ballots during early voting.

Through Oct. 31, RCT will provide temporary on-call bus service to the Richland County Board of Elections, 1495 W. Longview Ave., rear entrance) Monday through Friday during regular RCT hours.

Riders can take the RCT city bus to the Board of Elections by using, or transferring to, either of the following routes:

·        Route 9 – W. 4th Street: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. runs

·        Route 5 – Springmill Street: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. runs

Both routes will offer on-call access to the Board of Elections. Riders may either inform their driver when boarding the bus or call the RCT office at 419-522-4504 to arrange pickup at the Board of Elections.

Regular fares, transfers, and bus passes will be accepted for this service.
