Mary Beth (Denig) Cochran, of Mansfield, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the age of 72. She was born on August 18, 1953 in Huron, Ohio to the late Joseph & Wanda Emmer Denig. As an infant the family moved to Mansfield where Mary Beth spent the rest of her life.

Professionally, Mary Beth dedicated 42 years to the financial industry working as a data processor for Empire Affiliates Credit Union which later became Directions Credit Union. In her spare time, Mary Beth loved to travel to Florida with friends, watching the Hallmark television network and drinking a good margarita. Mary Beth was very particular about how she wanted her home cleaned and took great pride in making sure it was always clean and comfortable for her family and friends. While spending time at home she also enjoyed reading Harlequin romance novels. Playing games and puzzles on her tablet was another pastime she enjoyed. Above all else, spending time with her beloved family was of most importance.

Mary Beth will be fondly remembered by her loving husband of 33 years, Dennis “Tad” Cochran; her daughters, Jamie Westbrook-Utt and Brandie Cochran; her grandchildren, Ariana Browning, Dakoda (Holly) Addington and Robert McKinney, Jr.; her brother, James (Otilia) Denig; her sister, Barbara Fairchild; three brothers-in-law, Ernst Hofsaess, Steve Them and Tim Cochran; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Denig and Sharon (Dan) Workman. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, several extended family members and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph Denig, Patricia Hofsaess, John Denig and Wanda Them; her brother-in-law, Ken Fairchild.

A service to honor Mary Beth’s life will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 5, 2025 in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home with Pastor Dakoda Addington officiating. A time for family and friends to gather and share memories will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Mary Beth’s memory be made to the Worthington Township/Butler Fire Department.
