Eric Vaughn Heller, age 56, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 in his home. He was born on April 27, 1969 in Mansfield to Greg Heller and Kathryn Guinther Shawver.
Eric was a people person. He enjoyed meeting new people, being social and just overall friendly. In his spare time he liked to watch movies, play chess as well as various card games with friends. Eric was a devout Christian and was known as a Prayer Warrior. His love for people really showed in his decision to work as a caregiver for mentally handicapped people.
Survivors include two sons, Aaron Heller and Caleb Heller; his parents, Greg Heller and Kathy Shawver; his siblings, Lewis Shawver and Laura Shawver. Eric also leaves behind several extended family members and a host of friends.
A service to honor Eric’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 6, 2025 in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. A time for family and friends to gather will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Bunkerhill Cemetery in Butler.
