Shelby rallied over Galion for an inspiring 45-34 victory in an Ohio high school football matchup on Sept. 12.
Galion started on steady ground by forging a 14-6 lead over Shelby at the end of the first quarter.
The Tigers darted a small margin over the Whippets as both teams headed to make end of the second quarter adjustments.
Nothing was decided in the third quarter, with Shelby and Galion locked in a 28-28 stalemate.
The Whippets held on with a 17-6 scoring edge in the fourth quarter.
Last season, Shelby and Galion faced off on Sept. 20, 2024 at Galion High School.
