Linda M. Wright, age 80 of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Arbors of Mifflin Nursing Home. She was born on October 22, 1944, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, to the late William Alan West and Effie Mae (Christian) West.
Linda was a longtime member of the United Pentecostal Church of Bedford, and she worked for Baker and Hostetler Law Firm in Cleveland for 37 years.
She is survived by her children Robin Jones, Gerald Jones, Jr., Richard Jones, Monica Jones, and Earl Wright Jr.; her siblings Lauren, Billy, Tadarol, Jonnie, Joy, Bobby, Jo-Ann, Brian, Greg, and Gary; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl E. Wright; her parents William and Effie; her children Lauren Clark-Newman and Derrick West; and her siblings Geraldine and Cherry.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, with Pastor Danny Perry and Pastor Emeritus Eugene Perry officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 12:15 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Please meet at the cemetery office at least 15 minutes prior to the service.
