MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Shakespeare Company is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming Shakespeare in the Park production of Hamlet.
Directed by Joseph Fahey, this iconic tragedy explores revenge, morality, grief, and the search for truth in one of Shakespeare’s most powerful and enduring works.

📅 Dates: Sunday, May 3 and Monday, May 4
🕕 Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
📍 Location: Founders Auditorium, OSU Mansfield Campus (Park in Lot 2)
About the production
This production of Hamlet will bring Shakespeare’s legendary tragedy to life for Mansfield audiences in a bold and engaging outdoor setting.
The play follows Prince Hamlet as he grapples with betrayal, revenge, and the mysteries of life and death after the ghost of his father reveals a terrible secret.
🎭 Who Should Audition
The production is seeking actors aged 13 and above, with some exceptions made for younger actors when appropriate.
Whether you are a seasoned performer or trying Shakespeare for the first time, all are encouraged to audition.
🎭 What to Expect
● Auditioners will perform readings from the script. It is recommended that actors read or re-read the script in advance of their audition. Prepared monologues from any of Shakespeare’s plays are welcome but are not required.
