Gene Edward Dillon, age 51 of Mansfield Ohio passed away on August 13, 2025 at his home following an extended illness. On February 27, 1974 he was born in Wooster, Ohio the son of the late Dennis and Barb (Moser) Dillon. Gene had lived in Wooster, Shreve and Lakeville and then in Mansfield Ohio.
Gene loved ghost hunting and anything supernatural. He even had his own ghost hunting YouTube channel. He loved his family and going for walks. Gene dearly loves his granddaughter Alicia. He was a really sweet guy who loved everyone. His family will miss him dearly. You would have to have known him to understand how amazing of a husband, stepdad, stepbrother, and friend and family he was. He really was a genuine, sweet, kind and funny man.
He is survived by his stepchildren, Alicia Holbert, and Patricia Yoder and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta, Bobby, Dillon, and his mother and father.
The family would like to express their thank you to the hospice nurses that came into their home.
