Doris Jean Frasher (Weaver), 83, of Mansfield, Ohio, was called home on August 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 30, 1942, in Mansfield to the late Phyllis Weaver and Ben Young.

She was the cherished wife of Robert Frasher, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage- a love story so enduring and beautiful it could fill the pages of a book. Together, they built a life centered around their family and unconditional love.

A proud veteran, Doris served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1964. After her service, she dedicated her life to being a homemaker, caring for her family, and creating a warm, welcoming home, while also working as a merchandiser for American Greeting until her retirement in 1999. She adored cats, loved watching birds from the porch, and spending countless hours on the road traveling with the Shelman Model A Club, of which she was a member for 40 years.

Doris is survived by her loving husband Robert Frasher, daughter Stephanie Ovens (Frasher), son James (Sue) Frasher, grandchildren Jessica (Christopher) Tobias, Ryan Frasher, Mason Collier, and Abby Frasher, great-grandchildren Owen and Olivia Tobias, sister Benita Wiseman, sisters-in-law Jody Frasher and Carolyn (Curt) Vandine, and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marge Weaver, her brother-in-law William Frasher, and many beloved friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 12-2 pm at the Lexington Senior Center, 67 E. Main St., Lexington, Ohio 44904. Family and friends are invited to gather with a dish to share, reminisce, and honor the life of a remarkable woman whose kindness, unbreakable strength, and love touched everyone she met.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved so deeply.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to S.T.O.P. at 1152 Lexington Ave, Mansfield, Ohio 44907.
