MANSFIELD — Rain or shine.
That’s any outdoor music festival in Ohio during the summer.
The 2025 Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival is no exception.

Persistent rain, especially Saturday night, apparently didn’t dim the power vibe on the grounds of the famed Ohio State Reformatory, during an evening highlighted by Slipknot and Marilyn Manson.
It did create issues around the venue, especially in the campground at the Richland County Fairgrounds.
High water invaded campsites, creating late-night issues for attendees of the annual three-day, heavy metal festival that’s expected to draw about 30,000 fans each day.
Festival organizers used social media to communicate with campers, including this Facebook post around 1 a.m. (below)
Some of those staying in the nearby fairgrounds posted photos and videos of high water that invaded their tent-based campsites.

Others posted comments about issues in the parking lots trying to leave the venue after the last guitar chords were played.
The weather forecast in Mansfield today may offer a respite as music lovers prepare for a day three show that includes Five Finger Death Punch, Lamb of God and Three Days Grace 2X.
Gates to the festival open Sunday at noon.
There is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 82.
New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are forecast by the National Weather Service office in Cleveland, though higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.
There is also a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight, mainly before 8 p.m.
