MANSFIELD — Inkcarceration has quickly become a summer tradition at the Ohio State Reformatory.
Soon the venue may be as well-known for its music and ink fest as it is for its relationship to the motion picture, “The Shawshank Redemption.”
This weekend’s activities bring together music and tattoo enthusiasts from across the country for a festival that expects to draw perhaps as many as 90,000 people to the north side of the city.
Inkcarceration officials were kind enough to share the images captured by a number of photographers from Friday’s action. Photo journalists working through Danny Wimmer Presents included Sam Shapiro, Nathan Zucker, Lexie Alley, and Steve Thrasher.
