BELLVILLE – Hamilton Insurance Group, Inc., in partnership with the Mansfield Rotary Club, is excited to announce the 2025 Golf Scramble benefitting the Mansfield Police K9 Unit, taking place on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at Deer Ridge Golf Course in Bellville, Ohio.
Registration opens at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
This meaningful event raises vital funds for the Mansfield Police Department’s K9 Unit — a unit that is not included in the City of Mansfield’s general operating budget. Instead, it depends on donations and community support.
All proceeds from the Golf Scramble will go directly to the K9 program, helping cover the costs associated with purchasing the dogs, specialized training, medical care, food, and vehicle modifications needed for K9 transport.
The Mansfield K9 Unit plays a crucial role in ensuring public safety, not just within city limits but throughout the surrounding counties.
These dedicated K9 teams assist in tracking missing persons, detecting illegal drugs, apprehending suspects, and enhancing officer protection; making them an indispensable resource to law enforcement and the greater community.

There are still openings for foursome teams, as well as opportunities for sponsorships and raffle donations.
