MARION – A Marion man was killed early Sunday morning after a one-vehicle motorcycle crash, according to the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Seth G. Reece, 27, of Marion, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Marion County Coroner Investigator, April Short.

The incident took place on Caledonia Northern Road, north of Emahiser
Road in Marion County.

According to the Patrol, Reece was traveeling northbound on Cadedonia Northern Road on a 2024 Suzuki GSX1000.

While approaching the intersection of Emahiser Road, the investigation revealed Reece failed to negotiate the curve at the intersection, and traveled off the right side into a field. After entering the field, he was unable to maintain control of the motorcycle, causing him to overturn before coming to final rest.

The Patrol stated that Reece was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by First Consolidated Fire and EMS, and Ron’s Towing.

The crash remains under investigation.
