Rebecca Jean (Claypool) Roe, 70, of Mansfield, passed away at home on Monday, May 5, 2025.
Rebecca was born January 14, 1955, in Mansfield and was the daughter of the late Leonard & Betty Claypool. She was a 1973 graduate of Madison High School and married John Ernest Roe on November 13, 1971. Becki loved drinking an ice-cold Pepsi while bundled up in her Snoopy blanket, watching her Hallmark movies and her show Reba. She loved music with her favorites being Myles Kennedy, Adam Lambert and Carrie Underwood that she listened to often. She collected photos of her children and grandchildren; she loved looking at her hubby’s flower garden out front and talking about her childhood with her amazing parents that she missed very much.
Rebecca is survived by her children: Angela (John) Schwab, Heather (Jayson) Roe, Carrie Summers, Amber Roe, John T. Roe, Christian Broughton, and in-laws, Holly Roe and Tony Summers; grandchildren: Michael (Sam) Roe, Justin Roe, Olivia (Derek) Galco, Jessica Tesca, Brittany Martin, Shianna Harper, Avery Mullins, Anthony Summers, Matthew Summers, Sierra Broughton, Victoria Summers, Adriana Harper, Star Roe, and Noah Roe; great-grandkids: Micah, Oliver, Marina, Elena, Delilah, Riley, Kayleigh, Layla, Natilley, and Landin; sister, Sharon Nevius of Lexington; nieces, Amanda and Wendy Fife of Lexington; sisters-in-law, Beverly (Denny) Scott, Betty (Larry) Coleman, Joyce (Randy) Rinehart, Jackie Roe, and Tami (Terry) Hutchinson; and numerous nieces and nephews, and her good friend Brian Bowman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Leonard & Betty Claypool; sister, Susan; brother-in-law, James; and sister-in-law, Barbara.
Becki missed John terribly since his passing in 2022 and they are now united together again in Heaven.
The family would like to thank Avita Hospice Care for helping take such good care of Becki at home.
